I haven't had any problems with mine, but I was always getting the dictionary when I swiped with my 600, which got me into the habit of using the buttons to turn the pages which I prefer and use with the T1 as well.

Once I got use to the Reader software I now like it & I let it sync all my books with no problem. I hated the sync option in the old reader software & never used it.

I am extremely pleased with my T1.

Yay I updated mine last night and I really, really hope it works. I really want to keep my T1 and I've had so many issues with Sony now I don't want to deal with their customer service ever again Fingers crossed

Just a short update from my last post. The direct download of firmware update is also available on sony's German website (Version 1.0.03.11140).

For me, it seems to take a bit longer to start up the reader after the update. It doesn't really bother me so much, though.

Agreed, still waiting for Sony UK to confirm that they where of all of the issues, after 3 b£**&y weeks
