What slightly puzzles me is that eInk said in the autumn of 2009 that they were starting commercial production of 6" displays with a plastic, rather than a glass, substrate, and yet here we are, almost two years later, still with displays with glass substrates. I can only think that the commercial production process hit some sort of major problem.

That's why I was suggesting plastic logic for the larger screens like the DX. I'm sure there is significantly greater manufacturing defects the larger the screen thus higher pricing...
