So there should be no difference, but I will check with my 650 and report back.
That is what I thought would be the case. Oh well, I don't read landscape on the 350 as often as I would if I still had a 950. The 5" and 6" screens are really too small to benefit from the two-page per screen landscape mode offered only on the 950, which is probably why it isn't offered on the 350 or 650. Thanks for checking!

Sorry, I have to confirm that epub in landscape mode on a PRS-650 (with PRS+) repeate up to 4 lines on the second-half page, without greying them out (as it is done on my PRS-505). This IS annoying.

Well, I just joined the PRS-950 club today - living in Seattle I'm fortunate to have both a Sony Store as well as a Sony Outlet store. I was at the outlets today and picked up a 950 for $170 after their discounted price (its a refurb/return/floor model) and a coupon from being a 'VIP' member at this local mall. So far, I'm very happy and impressed with the device.

I'm not new to Sony's eReader line - up until a month or ago I was the owner of a PRS-900 that my wife got me for my birthday. I used it extensively and read it nearly every day until I left it on an Alaska Airlines flight from BOS to SEA. I called the airline as soon as I realized I left it onboard, but nobody turned it in. I've been debating what to replace it with - my wife has a Nook Color, and I demo'd the Kindle and other eReaders available at BestBuy, but kept coming back to the 950 for its size, screen, and interface. After reading this and other threads, I'm glad I snagged one when I did - sounds like they're in short supply and harder to get!

Congratulations, happy you!

Man, I start getting envious over here. This 950 seems to be something special in their reader line.

How do you survive with this choice of reader stores nearby. I'd be constantly eating dry rice 'cos of being broke all the time.

Yeah Ana, I did have a 350 before giving it to my sister, but never even attempted to put PRS+ on it. I still call my sister to see how it's doing and make sure she's taking care of it.

installing PRS+ (with the ..setup.exe) should be a straight forward process.

Please check the "About" screen after installation.
If all went well, the first screen of About will show the PRS+ fw-version. Also the third row of home-screen will look different with PRS+
Browse Folders instead of periodicals
and More instead of ....(don't remember, sorry)

There is a "glitch" at least with 350/650.
After installing PRS+ all looks and works as expected.
After the first full shutdown and restart the standard UI will show up. (Maybe you got this effect)
Just do another full shutdown restart and PRS+ will show up again.
(Added this as Note2: on the PRS+ project homepage wiki installationguide, too)
HTH
Mark

PS: I remember you wrote about a boot-loop with PRS+, so it may be be wise to backup the content of IM (Internal Memory) to your computer, format the readers IM and try the PRS+ installation with a "clean" system
Thanks Mark for the ideas, I remember the firmware did say the Sony firmware version and the UI didn't change so the firmware must not have taken. I tried a factory reset and reinstalling the PRS+ again from a different computer and could still not restart it since it got stuck in a boot-loop again so maybe it's something wrong with my reader, although everything seems to work as expected with the device otherwise.

I love mine. It's my first ever eReader, and I'm already a bit nervous about what to replace it with when the day finally comes to do so... it's setting the bar very high.
