Great, now I'm hungry. Worse yet, I want a curry burrito. Thanks, Joykins.
On that kind of idea, I recall the idea of the world's best restaurant; the English greet you at the door, the French cook all the food, the Germans organize everything, and the Italians provide all the entertainment.

Unfortunately, at most of the ones I end up at; the French greet you at the door, the English cook all the food, the Italians organize everything, and the Germans provide all the entertainment.

I once remember seeing a sign that said "Cajun Barbecue Sushi" - on a Pizza place.

Mexican/Chinese places seem all the rage in my area lately. I don't get it.

When I lived in Los Angeles, there seemed to be only Middle-Eastern pizza places. There are many things I miss about LA. That pizza is not one them.

Reminds me of a James Gregory bit:
"I saw shop advertising 'Lawn Mower Repair and Income Tax Service.' Oh yeah, just think how many times over the years you and I have a carried a lawn mower in to get it fixed, and thought 'gee, I really would like to get my taxes done while I'm here...."

I made Kashmiri Chicken last night. I could wrap some up in a burrito for you.

How? People who shop on or at (I'm not exactly sure of the preposition) Amazon also have access to bathrooms. Also, bitter/snarky remarks aren't usually the best in customer service, so its not like they'd get more customers that way.

We also have this restaurant nearby: Il Forno Metro Dhaba. Don't believe me, here is their website.

The curry is good and cheap.

The pizza is excellent.

Though I've loved browsing book stores all my life, Amazon has a much better selection and almost a good a browsing experience, better in some ways.

And they take exception to me shopping naked at Borders.

Exactly.
Amazon didn't kill Borders.... the prospect of pants-off book shopping in general did. You just can't compete with that.

Better in many ways.

I shop at other websites now that I own a reader that Amazon doesn't cater to. But I find that no matter where I buy a book or ebook, I always look it up on Amazon first. Their site is the gold standard for everything.

(Well, almost everything. Everything but buying ebooks. Kind of Ironic.)

LOVE the sign. Anyone who's worked in a bookstore in the last 5 years feels that way. :P

When I lived in Toronto I used to eat at a Polish/Korean restaurant (run by a Korean family in a Polish neighbourhood - they offered both cuisines) AND a Portuguese/Chinese restaurant (I believe the owners were from Macao).

They were both great
