sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/USB results in:

$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/USB
Mount is denied because the NTFS volume is already exclusively opened.
The volume may be already mounted, or another software may use it which
could be identified for example by the help of the 'fuser' command.

Already mounted...... OK (I switched that off, I remember now)

makes it easier.

cd /calibre-web
sudo mkdir /calibre-web/books
sudo chmod 777 -R /calibre-web

Can you copy the (whole) calibre directory from stick 2 to /calibre-web/books on stick 1?
Here you can probably use the GUI (graphical desktop).

Isn't there a better/easier way to give me the general rights to create folder/directories without commano lines?

From the GUI you can create / delete / copy / etc only inside your home directory /home/huber70

Outside is usually done with the command line (that's the way I do it and learned from the internet.)

Actually I connect to my Pi with SSH (command line) from my Hackintosh.
I don't usually use the GUI as it is mainly used as a server without monitor, keyboard and mouse attached.

copy process still running - used the time wisely to order another power supply from Co
BENSN due to its on/off switch (easier to handle by often use)

Only use the on/off switch when you have shutdown the Pi either through the GUI or with sudo shutdown now

Ok!

Now shutdown, remove the 2nd USB stick and boot again.

Then:
cd /calibre-web/books
ls -l

Is the calibre library there?
If yes then select and copy all text below in one block and paste it in a terminal window:

  -e PGID=1000 \
  -e TZ=Europe/Berlin \
  -p 8083:8083 \
  -v /calibre-web/config:/config \
  -v /calibre-web/books:/books \

In the raspberry pi webbrowser you should be able to connect to calibre-web http://localhost:8083

then in you modem/router portforward port 80 to 8083 and you are (almost) ready.

to be totally ready you need let's encrypt for a https connection. But that is for if it all works.......

received a free adress but don't know where/how to change portforward and where to input the freemyip adress

The domein name now knows your WAN/external IP.

In your modem/router you can portforward the external port (80) to the internal IP address of your Pi and internal port 8083 of calibre-web.

Your friends can access your calibre-web with http://huberbooks.freemyip.com
