I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels a bit intimidated by The Iliad. I've read parts of it before, but have not taken the time to read it all the way through. I could see reading it as part of an open ongoing group, giving everyone as much time as they need to read it; I just do not know if it would work as a 21 day book club selection. Although, it might be a perfect time to read it for the Literary Club (can not mange a link using my phone), seeing as there is extra time this month, with the dates being moved.

It is a shame that Dragonflight isn't part of this vote given Anne's untimely death.

I voted for Lolita. Not that I've read all of the others, but this one left a lasting dent in my mind.

Had to go for the seasonal one. Would be lovely to revisit A Christmas Carol again.

Anybody want to take a guess at what the winner will be since there's not long left?
I hope it's the one I voted for, To The Lighthouse, but among the others my random guess is the most votes will be A Christmas Carol, and if not that, then either The Murder of Roger Ackroyd or Heart of Darkness. |

Yeah because of the month probably "A Christmas Carol" I think this time I'll stay with the book club votes, usually I'll read the book (or not) and then totally forget about the discussion that goes with the book.
