I was going to suggest that it's exactly like a marathon. I think they have a special hatred for French people, who can't understand instructions and keep filling the forms in the wrong places. Or maybe they are just trained to make everyone feel special

Yup. It's a variation of standard geographical restrictions in ebooks. If the carrier pigeon dies of exhaustion before it gets to you, you're too far away.

Nah, seriously, they've apparently had some issues in converting Smashwords ebooks to their own format, and either mine's been caught up in the issues, or it's waiting on all the other SW ebooks.
