Pfft, more like mockery and the opportunity for The Loved One to tell everyone that I'd presumed to question his authority. That's how we roll.

It's rather appropriate in the lounge for the avian warning to postcede the injury. Well-timed and -said, Geoff (also, Happy Birthday...sorry I missed it).

It could have been a little closer though, so it looked like I had tears of blood. Wouldn't that be cool? No...oh, okay. I'm a "wanker", you say? Fair enough.

Wait a tick...you're right...this crowbar is a Montsnmags Enterprises item! What the hell was I doing buying one of those?! Hell, I wrote the "codicil". Gees, it's lucky I didn't send it up my nostril and through my sinuses into my brain (If anyone says "You'd have to be a good shot", I'm going to sulk).

No promises. My idea of protective footwear during household repair and maintenance is an old pair of Havaianas, so there's a fair chance something heavy and/or sharp will be trying to pass through some part of my body sometime in the future.

It's always a bad time to mention your fears on The Lounge. Here's another, just meant to show it's less about the dramatic blood, and more about the crowbar-imprint:

Marc, I'm late to the party on this one, so everyone else said it better than I. But please, be careful in the future, would you?

As for what I'm doing right now? Well, I just finished the final and the post-test in my advanced Excel class. Got an A on the final. The post-test doesn't count, as long as you demonstrate improvement over the pre-test (which I did), they're happy. I *should* end up with an A for the course.

Next up: Basics of Accounting and Principles of Business.

No, sorry. I don't have a death-wish, but I do have a "causing-drama-to-add-significance-to-my-life-even-if-it-hurts-me wish" ...but thank-you for your care.

I'd give you an A+. Maybe even a ++. Not just for your efforts, but because to achieve that in Excel, and then move on to Accounting and Business Principles...well, while my mind likes, for example, trying to wrap around the more bizarre angles of physics (it never succeeds, but it likes it), it turns into a squirming, reflexive repulsed mess of confused tentacles and eyeballs when accounting, business principles or economics comes up. This is my way of saying "Woohoo!" and congratulations and thumbs-up.

Cheers,
Marc

Marc, Marc, Marc. Didn't you ever learn to read the small print? Surely something labelled "Produced by PNS Enterprises, Threat Control Department" (albeit it in carefully coloured bosons) really ought to have warned you that the object might be prone to apparently self-motivated impulse movements. And anyway, what were you doing using a crowbar, when it was an excellent excuse to play with some kind of overpowered hydralic mechanised toy.

Actually, that would've looked cool (yeah, so I never grew up either, just older... ), but I suspect any closer and you might have damaged your eye, too, which wouldn't be cool.

Are all men like this? The yeti's idea of keeping his feet protected are sandals, and this despite the fact he has a perfectly good pair of steel toe capped boots, which he only wears for work (admittedly, they are good for kicking recalcitrant servers and presumably obnoxious users)

OK - that makes sense. Apart from the last item. You really would need to have got closer to the eye so it looked you were crying blood, then you could have sold the pic to Stephanie "Twinkletoes" Meyers to use as the cover of her next vampire book.

Was that a side effect of the occasion where you took a large (huge actually) dark chocolate bunny back home one easter, only to discover that the PNS were very well aware of the tale of the Trojan horse.....

The Buc's are 0-7 now... Woot! At least they finally played Josh Freeman. I think they should have started him from game one. Everyone knew this was going to be a building year.
