Fire ant bites are so nasty that it really scares me when a child gets into them.

Ants are really yucky when you get lots. last weekend we went to a BBQ and there was a banana chair that I was about to sit on when I noticed some large ants on it. I went to move it away to discover that there was a nest in the arm of the chair as they went insane and came out in masses. A couple of us dragged/pushed the chair outside the fence onto the grass, but the ants were everywhere anyway. Four small children running/toddling around managed to excape the worst.

I ALMOST turned on the a/c last night -- it was so uncomfortable in my house. I think once this line of storms goes through in the next couple of days, the humidity will drop. It looks like some severe weather, though. I think Atlanta will be at the extreme southern edge of it so maybe we'll be okay here. Are you supposed to get it there?

Yeah, i actually just ran out of the office to the corner drug store (got a sick paralegal) and was shocked I didnt get caught in a torrent. It looks and feels like the bottom might fall out any second. We're forecasted "scattered t-storms" today and tomorrow and severe storms thursday.
