My wife picked up (and paid for) one of those small Logitec mice for portable devices with the snal in USB transmitters that save battery life. It has worked great for her and relieved her CTS from the laptop mouse pad.

I've got one of those. I like it a lot, especially when I take my Asus eee to the University library.

We were going to make it official that in every Queen Zee specific thread we had to replace every "w" with a "z" (eg. "replace every "z" zith a "z""). I stopped encouraging that, because my brain started to hurt.

I went by Brookstone and picked up a really nice "laptop kit" for not too much. It's got all sorts of great tools for laptops, a snap in mouse, a little usb light, modem cables, a little usb hub ... nice and compact.

I can slip it in my bag with my Kindle for long flights (when I have time to read AND do a little work). Just gotta love that technology.

Y'see, ghod made us 26 letters and a variety of punctuation. We were really not made to have all that frilly shibbit on our words. So typically French. I mean French Rococco? I rest my case.

Just reworked my desktop (on my laptop), tweeted that, and now I'm watching Futurama. It's a rerun, but one I really liked. I had a bit of a low-key day. Too much wind to get much painting done, so I attended a "webinar" that was so incredibly boring, I fell asleep in the middle of it.

I just went looking at a potential new desk for myself (currently I sit on the lounge with my laptop on my...well, lap), but, unlike the brochure advertised, the desk was not "gloss white".

I'm thinking of ordering this chair to go with the not-yet-found desk:
