If you have read and enjoyed his other books, Mistborn in particular, or the Wheel of Time books he wrote, I would highly recommend them. I think they are excellent personally.

I'm about a tenth through Kings and enjoy it so far. I don't find it too complex; in fact, I'd say, for me, Sanderson is too clear in explaining the details of how everything in his world works.

I know others have been critical about the fact that he takes his time to high level explain what's going on, but for me it's no big deal. I just go along for the ride, confident that authors who do this have reasons (both for plot and style) for introducing things, when and how, they do.
