Yes it sure does. Not to stereotype anyone or anyplace but it seems to me that the people that are least likely to complete the census either have a reason they dont want anyone to know where they live, they live in areas that you dont want to be wandering around in, or both.

At least 2 or 3 times a month I get an advertisement package in the mail from Time Warner cable, out lining all their current promotions, their bundle packages, how wonderful they are, how much happier I'll be if I switch, etc....

The only problem is that I'm already a customer of theirs

That is probably $2 or $3 a month thrown away.

Mate of mine used make sure he opted in for every free bit of junk mail he could. This was when he had an AGA type oven... (might've been a Rayburn, can't remember, but you could burn paper in it)

Our company has had an account with Time Warner for over 10 years for Internet - even a static IP address. I still get calls every month (from Time Warner) asking who is out internet provider? Sigh.

Talk about wasting ad money. I got a registered letter today... yes, it was an ad. We got the notice yesterday, and my wife was worried it would be bad news of some kind.
