Additionally, when I try to export a configuration, I get the following error:

Turns out to be a problem with the translations as you suspected. I fixed in version attached below.

This did not happen to me because I use Linux. Also fixed in version attached below. Please try it and report back.

Both failures have been solved, thank you very much. Glad to know that I still can "smell" the failures (I've been in testing teams for some time )

Could you please consider allowing series to be included for matching options? Also, when doing metadata variations for series, it would help if being able to match both the series and author for this. I find that I end up with a lot of books by different authors with slightly different series, but maybe only two books end up matching but since there are multiple books I don't know how to change them. It seems that the plugin only allows you to change none or all the selection. If I were to say only books by the same author for series metadata variations then it would be much easier.

Also, exactly what is the "length" box for? I never figured this out.

Also, how can I say "change only these specific choices" and not "these ones" out of a large result?

Matching to "The Black Box"

Because I can see the authors in the booklist, I know that author A would be a match, but how can I change it so the "Black Box" for Author A and "The Black Box" for Author A should be both "Black Box" and leave the others alone?

The plugin has an advanced mode for over a year now, that allows you to match by any combination of fields you want, including the series field.

Just finished organising my library and tried the Find Duplicates feature. It said there wasn't any but I was looking at one on my screen.
I'm assuming I haven't set it up correctly.

Sorry, BR, not been able to upload a photo. I can only hope me listing the checked boxes in Find Duplicates is enough.
Title/Author. mobi-asin. Identical in both Title matching and Author matching. Length is 8 in both. Show all groups at once with highlighting. Highlight authors in the tag browser for ignore title searches. Include languages metadata when comparing titles.

Copy paste the title/authors for the undetected duplicates (both of them). Also copy/paste the contents of the language field for both duplicates.

Capink, don't know what the language field is but then what?

Right click on book > Edit Medatadata > Copy fields circled in the screenshot > Paste the values in this thread so we can examine them.
