I've had a string of 10% coupons. I don't really care because I have absolutely no excuse to be buying more books, but it still makes me a bit sad to get those.

The funny thing is, most of the time when there are coupons going around I don't use them because I figure I really shouldn't be buying anything. Then after I remember some things I would have bought if I could get them for a couple bucks (but wouldn't bother otherwise). This time I actually remembered to start a list beforehand, and it's done me no good.

What really bugs me is that I didn't make better use of the 90% coupon. I think I bought a half dozen things, but why on earth didn't I just go ahead and grab every book I'd ever considered putting on a wish list that was couponable, considering they were only $1 or so each?

I don't think you can use coupons on Nook books... at least in the US.

Most of the time, that's correct, although at least once or twice I have gotten coupons that were valid for Nook books.

The other thing preventing people from sharing B&N coupon codes is that they started using unique codes. They used to send out coupons that were shareable (unintentionally, I think) and often posted in various forums.

Of course, I have noticed a trick that might work for sharing a code, if anyone's interested, but it would only help for printed books, not ebooks.

I can't tell if this coupon is good for ebooks or not--it says exclusions apply, but when I click that, I just get a B&N page with a bunch of this and that --categories and ads, not any rules. So I have no idea. The code is shareable as it was sent in my associate's package and I've already used it...BUT on print books, not ebooks. I have a Kindle and shop at Kobo for ebooks, but not B&N. So it probably won't work on ebooks, but I don't know.

If you're talking about the BNJUNE16 code, then it's not valid on ebooks.

Thanks. It's no wonder no one bothers to talk about the discounts/has a thread. I even looked on my associate rules page and couldn't figure out the exclusions. Thanks for posting that. I'll know for the future if they do another one. I don't post most of their stuff because they aren't really of interest very often. Even their father's day attempt was super lame.
