I got up at 5 this saturday, left at 6... Glad we did so, as the roads were all white, even in Germany, where they generally pass by with a road cleaner (either salt or shovel or both).

But my normal get-up time is at 6, so, not too much of a difference there (I'm usually awake at 5:55...)

My cats wake me up EVERY morning at 5am - week days, week ends, holidays - don't matter. Then daylight savings time strikes - and they wake me up at 4am.
But then I get my revenge when it ends (and the little guys have adjusted) - and I wake them up at 5am (4am their time).

Or maybe it's the other way around?

DAMMIT! Someone broke in last night - while we were asleep in bed - and stole my laptop! It had all of my books on it, which I had been thinking needed to be backed up to a CD-ROM. And also lots of personal info, all nice and neat for them in my tax files.

Yikes - I'm so sorry! Hope they just want the laptop and will erase/not use your personal info. We had a rash of break-ins in our neighborhood last year - and got the house wired with Brinks security. Don't know if really deters anyone, but the alarm is deafining!
