I hate tornadoes at night. You can't see them coming.

I'm 20 miles away, but the alarms are going off. The super-cell is north of here coming south, and we are hoping it goes back up into the air, and east please.

They wanprn everybody to get off of I-65, because it is coming straight down the freeway.

Hey, it's your fault! The spring super-cells blow down from Colorado and get juiced up coming over the cornfields. They get here and slam up against the Gulf air, and all heck breaks loose.

OK, the big tornado veered east and unwound for now, but a super-cell means there's more behind it. But it is weakening right now at this exact moment.

Sunny and heading for the upper 80's again today. Maybe some storms tomorrow - we could really use the rain.

Was reminded yesterday of why it is a really good idea to start wearing the strong sunscreen in March here...
