Microsoft no longer supports XP. You might want to think of moving on as well.

There are options...
  • Install Linux Mint. MS might not support old hardware with modern software, but linux does.
  • Buy a cheap new/semi-used computer for ~$100.
  • Curse in despair as more and more software stops supporting XP.

Since MS doesn't support XP, I guess Qt5 decided they don't have to either. Unfortunately for XP users, Qt5 is a popular open-source GUI toolkit, used by a number of programs including this one.

Nothing to be done unless Qt5 decides to start supporting XP.

Hey, can i create a big mobi file without it to be split into smaller files?
That depends on my memory or has a fixed maximum size that the KCC can create?
It is something that could change using cheat engine?

Technically speaking maximal size of KCC output is ~650mb for MOBI.

But KCC have 400mb hardcoded limit for two reasons. Primarily most of Kindle models have about 1.25GB space available and making files that take half of available space is not practical. Additionally books that contain thousands of images work slower - page turning is affected.

So I decided that standard KCC output will be single manga volume (100-200mb per file). In my opinion this is good choice both from an organizational point of view and technical one.

Is a pity... i realy whanted to create complete volumes, no matter how long it takes to get done. Then I must separate by parts, not so bad.
My Kindle have 4GB available and i showing it to my friends who like read manga. They read on phone but is not good cause of light...

I wanted to create complete packages with all manga volumes organized by chapter and name. So I could say "hey man, you would like to read Nana? I send you complete."

I created it with the horror mangá Uzumaki, become perfect and have a cover

Have any way i can create these giant volumes without split?

You still can create complete volumes. I highly doubt that single volume would pass 400mb limit.

https://github.com/ciromattia/kcc/wi...tput-splitting

Use "TitleC" structure and every volume will be placed in separate MOBI file

Problems since update

Please help, I've been working on this for hours with no solution. I'm crying with frustration over here. Since I updated (Previous version 4.5.1) my .mobi s have been coming out tiled on my device (kindle paperwhite). I tried setting KCC to different devices, it didn't help. If I could find an old version .exe I think that would fix it. I can't figure out how to run the python source code.

Upload source files somewhere and send me PM with a link.

Additionally describe exactly what KCC configuration was used and which model of PW you got.

Cothageris issues was caused by outdated firmware.

Anybody with similar issues should update to 5.6.0+.

Please resize this image properly.

No other Kobo user reported this issue. I can't really comment as I don't use and don't have access to any Kobo hardware.
