Kobo µSD Card Image Requests - Page 543

Hi,
my Kobo Clara HD N249 became stuck after a firmware update and now freezes on the factory reset screen with the circular arrows and three dots.

I’m planning to replace/reflash the internal microSD. Could someone please send me a clean SD image for the Kobo Clara HD N249, preferably from a stable firmware version?

Hi everybody,
Can some pls send me the Kobo libra 2 (N418323226618) µSD Card Image?
My system crashed. The kobo screen stay with and flashes a few times when i tried start it. Al resets etc did not work.

Hello,

My Kobo Clara HD N249 (I do not not know if it is the Rev B or not; how can I know?) is dead. And it's back to life since I deployed an image to a new SD card, but it appears the image I found was not purely of a Kobo Clare HD, but of a "transformed" Clara HD with XCSoar functionality ^^'

Could you please send me the corresponding image files? Ideally for "basic" and Rev B versions, so if the first fail I will use the second

And out of curiosity, is there a reason why there is no "self service"? I am in advance very thankful to the person who will send me a PM, but I see the 543 pages of requests and I feel like it is a lot of work that could be easier with just a page of links ^^

PS: on the mother board is written 37NB-E60K00+4A4 if it helps to distinguish Rev B or not Rev B

I'm not DNSB (or the late David for who started this) but rational is that the f/w is protected by copyright and this is the best means of avoiding claims of copyright infringement.

The Rev B I've seen ended in +4B0. The middle letter in that +number-letter-number combo is what we use for the revision.

Pretty much what David Forrester told me when I asked the same question—avoiding the notice of the legal community is generally considered a good thing. While part of the software in the image is open source (Linux, etc.), the other part of the software is copyright by Kobo and others.
