so we have had some fairly high wind storms this year, but we haven't quite gotten the over the top snowstorms (yet). a lot of big trees have been going down. someone said the other day that part of the problem is that the winds are coming from a different direction than normal. I'm not too sure about that... this is one of the recent victims here on the farm. it's hard to give a perspective, but if it helps, the horse is 17 hands. the rootball is at least 15 feet at the highest point
