That's very good to know, thanks!

It's been several years, but I vaguely remember that when I was shopping for a reader the Kobo seemed to be the only one whose manual stated explicitly that you could disable the wireless and do everything you need via a wired connection. I think there were even some brands that could be connected ONLY via WiFi.

Maybe my shopping wasn't extensive enough!

I think I have the same problem on my kobo wireless : firmware 1.9.12, no book found and onboard storage not visible.

Could I get a disk image for it please?

Which version do you have N647, N647B, or N289? Once we know we can send you the right one
