I don't think they are selling the horse but a book about the horse.
Now I think you can still buy a descendant of Secretariat but it will cost you more than $3.

I think that you're right about Secretariat having a descendant in the racing business. If I'm not mistaken he was in the last Kentucky Derby/Belmont thingie/Preakness thingie. Maybe it was the one before last. I'm not sure.

I think that you're right about Secretariat having a descendant in the racing business. If I'm not mistaken he was in the last Kentucky Derby/Belmont thingie/Preakness thingie. Maybe it was the one before last. I'm not sure.
If I remember right, I think they milked (for lack of a better word) Secretariat before he died and froze the sperm (my tablet auto corrected to supermarket) to sell later.
