Yeah, they've bumped us from a "trace" to "about an inch." I think it means they don't know!

Beautiful and sunny at 55F. I so don't miss the snow and all the electrical outages and having to chop wood. I hope you all don't get a lot this time.

Wanted to work in the garden but it's now hit 32C so I've found a nice cool place to relax. Hopefully we get RAIN tomorrow. You may think this is crazy with all the flooding in Australia but in our little corner it is dry and hot.

Back to the deep freeze! Currently -3 F; windchill -19. Tonight's low -11 F with projected windchills down to -25 F. I'm glad I stayed home. Being sick AND being that cold would have really been bad.

Wow! We're really lucky here -- even if it snows tonight it's not supposed to get below about 29 or 30 degrees. Stay inside and stay warm and feel better!

Hey Betty, stock up on bread. It is snowing LOTS more than they predicted, and every flake is sticking. We got 1 1/2 inches in the first hr. It will be in Georgia soon!

Yes, I don't recall any songs about "snow falling on Alabama" or anything like that! Probably a lot of farmers casting nervous looks at their overdrafts now, waiting for the crop damage.
