I'm having a go at writing something for 10-12 year olds. It's an interesting challenge restricting your world to that of a 10 year old. I also find it helps me to understand my kids a bit better.

I'm busy, I'm busy... I have two ebooks on Amazon now, I almost know how to do it at this point. One is a juvenile fiction sort of environmental message book and the other is rational for the concept of preservation of genetic codes and life histories of those of us alive today for whatever the future, near and distant, might bring. I am now working on a 5 volume rewrite of the Marine Aquarium Reference, a 500 page book (now 800 pages) that I self published in 1989, second edition 1992. We sold over 80,000 copies and then let it go out of print because we moved. I think an ebook series is the best way to once again get it out into the world. Unfortunately I'm not very good at marketing. "You wouldn't want to buy my book, would you?" Is my approach and I don't have much luck with that.

To say there's been a long delay would be somewhat of an understatement. I am about to re-start a novella I began about 8 years ago. It involves a Victorian PI and a threat to the life of someone high up in the aristocracy. I am amazed the notes survived as a great deal of stuff was chucked out by accident. But they are all converted to files now, and the first draft is underway.

I have 30,000 words of a humorous Sci-Fi Mystery novel I started in November. I'm about 1/2 way through it and, if things continue on schedule, I'll be finished sometime toward the end of March.

Currently working on the second half of a scifi epic based on a Sanskrit story, which I eventually plan to release as a serial novel. Oh yes, and also am busy typing up a fun Norse horror story in my spare time.
