this is so wise. I learned it long time ago and I never regretted.
Once the money has been spent it is gone and you forget about it. But what you buy with it stays with you, and if to save a bit you got a bit less you have to scratch yourself with it for a long time.

Bus stop, wet day, she's there I say
Please share my umbrella
Bus stop, bus go, she stays love grows
Under my umbrella
All that summer we enjoyed it
Wind and rain and shine
That umbrella we employed it
By August she was mine

At home I drink my tea from a large tankard/stein. It holds one liter. I usually drink three or four of these during a normal week day, more on the weekends. But that's at home... I also drink ice tea with my lunch outside and that's another liter or two, then two hours sitting and reading in Starbucks (in the middle of my outside chores) drinking their iced tea. Unfortunately, we never really get to 'keep' all this tea...

Is gunpowder tea stimulating ?
Many years ago someone told me that Imperial Gunpowder would have hallucinogenic affects, so of course I brewed up several very strong mugs of the stuff. My whole body was buzzing most uncomfortably and it was an experiment I never repeated. No hallucinations... just a LOT of caffeine!

That makes a very good starting place. I think we also need to take into account the leaf size too. Some teas are a rather fine, almost powder, while others have large chunky leaves. A teaspoon of the powder would be a LOT more tea than a teaspoon of large leaves.

Then we need to adjust for individual tastes too. I like to make a stronger cup than my wife does. Where she might use a teaspoon, I might use two. (This is per normal sized tea cup, not my regular tankard.)

When I sit down to fill my tea bags, I use a large soup spoon. As an average, 3/4 of a rounded soup spoon is my starting point. Fine leaves get a bit less, large leaves get a full spoon. Sometimes this actually works.

thank you. i am almost there, the invisible man. the man with no shadow. at work i try to be as unnoticeable as it is possible. But a careful choice of clothes and a more than casual attitude help a bit. No waves, just the undisturbed flow of anonymity. It is not so easy as I am the boss.

I want my room to look like i was not there since few days, for unspecified and maybe mysterious reasons, vaguely unspeakable. A trip abroad, a post prandial walk, ...

when I am there and some body comes in my room i want to give the impression that I just arrived and that I am going to leave in few minutes ...

I drink about 2 liters of water every day, some orange juice in the morning, and 4 to 5 large mugs of tea. Then a cup of warm milk in the evening before bed. So that would be about 3 to 4 liters of 'fluids' every day. On the days I go jogging, I drink about 0.5 liters of water extra.

I had a discussion about this with a friend a while ago. Just the fact that women say: 'it's okay honey, size doesn't matter' is proof enough that size DOES matter. Wait, weren't we talking about tea ?

Fifth day without coffee, and still going strong. Cup of green tea orange. I'll have to go out to buy one of those breakfast teas you guys keep talking about.

Good Morning, America!
And Europe

Having a pot of Kashmir Chai enhanced with some Assam and Massala from TeeGschwendner, a drop of cream and some milk. Strong, dark 'n' dirty. Like me. OMG, I am tired, even this doesn't wake me up entirely...
