My work Teapot. Tea Gschwendner had a sale last year that was awesome. Fifty percent off if you bought a cast iron tea pot. I picked up the above tea pot and a 6 month order of tea for less then what the tea pot normally sells for. I was in heaven. |

I'll be a nice guy and NOT tell you how much these cost in Japan. ![]() Or... how many different sizes they come in! ![]() I think that $30 could supply us all! Doctor gave me a clean bill of health, more or less, for my 50,000 mile check-up. Heart is still beating, lungs still working, all the liquids are the right color and flavor. I need to cut down on meat, and I need to get a little bit taller, but all this tea drinking hasn't ruined my liver or kidneys so I guess I'm good for another 50,000 miles. Stitchawl |

![]() I would need Rayburn for brewing tea in a cast iron tea pot. At the very least, I would need to buy electrical cooker with sophisticated timer. Too much trouble for a cup of tea ![]() Though, I don't feel deprived, because I am a cup of tea type of a person, not a pot of tea. I like to drink different teas. I rarely resteep green teas. Even if I drink black teas one agter another, I like them to be different. Something like Assam ---> English Breakfast ---> Keemun ![]() Congrats! ![]() Till 120 ![]() A cup of Ahmad's Hampton Breakfast. |

![]() So if anyone knows a good shop that's not too expensive, ships to Europe and has lots of fruit teas, please let me know! Back at the office, cup of green tea citrus (grrrr, forgot I had run out of tea and didn't bring any from home. So I'm stuck with the green tea citrus for the rest of the day). |

gunpowder. washed once. 2 minutes. in the office. let's see. if i like it more or less than my Sencha (they come from the same pusher). waiting for it to cool down a little.
Nice first impression. Maybe a coppery aftertaste, maybe. These green teas are so evanescent and subtle. Extremely pleasant mouth. There is something on the sip. what? who knows. I should make friend with some Chinese and get proper guidance through these shadows. there is much more after taste than with Sencha Now the second steeping (after 1 wash) Interesting. More of something, something cleaner. Chemically cleaner. I cannot refer it to anything like fruits flowers or foods. But to a color maybe. yellow orange pink like those Mary Quaint fabrics Pleasant after taste. Overall Sencha is better. For me at least. which means that I will have to finish this gunpowder before buying more green tea, as it is quite nice anyhow. |

Black coffee. Not all the way awake yet.
However, beppe's description of a tea flavor as a washed-out Mary Quant fabric brought a smile to my face. ![]() |
