FWIW, and knowing that Pooh will correct me if I am wrong, this gibbon is not so much a gibbon as it is The Gibbon, more familiarly known as "Adrian".

If so, Adrian is invisible and inadvertently violent gibbon, formerly my imaginary friend. This description is fairly loose as he is clearly more visible than your average invisible gibbon, his violence is far more often and more advertent than the definition of inadvertence would normal delineate, his obvious prevalence here at MR outside of my own psyche indicates he is far less imaginary than I thought, and I have long given up, quite willingly and gleefully, any notion that the "my" bit is an exclusive deal only I can create from. He would technically be part of the Commons except that his whole being rebels against the idea of being common in any way. He is not mine. He is MobileRead's and he is his own (as channelled via willing or unwilling author receptacles here).

He weighs whatever he wants to weigh.

He is an ape (an important note, for safety reasons)

He is often not able to be scruted.

He is in a deep relationship with the Pirate Ninja Squirrels.

Interract with him at your own risk (things can go very good, or very bad, for you)

He worships Queen Zee.

He has a crush on BadGoodDeb.

He is a master defenestrator.

Duck.

He also owes me $300, and his Pet Registration is due.

Don't go drinking with him unless you're me...or pshrynk, unsurprisingly.

Marc, I keep crossing this "Adrian" of yours. If he is your imaginary friend, I would show some concern. Your imagination is a wonder of unspeakable power and worthy of respect.
If, as you say, he is now an entity of the MobileRead Collective Imagination, I collapse to the floor in laughter.
Adrian is most likely a collection of pastel Tribbles with mange.

The imaginary entity that protects my mind is more than willing to damage Adrian in creative ways. My mental population refers to him as "Tread" as that is the only warning any of us gets when he comes out.
I don't know what he is.
I don't really want to know.
He has a very nice smile and way too many teeth.
I would get my money from Adrian now.
I don't think his remains will have any value.
Although Tread does some very interesting entrail collages when the mood strikes him..

The majority, yes, although this might be a coffee-table (stain?) book.

If there is any desire to ever get Pooh's story into any of the online bookstores, it would need to be portrait orientation... but that could be fixed any number of ways, from simply allowing the image to be a central bar/graphic across a taller backdrop, to a full restructuring of the design.
