Spoiler:

Anybody But Him by Claire Baxter is 9¢ at Kobo US

Spoiler:
A deliciously funny rom com from Random Romance. What happens when you fall in love with the man you hate?Nicola Doyle’s dating record is a disaster, and it doesn’t improve when she returns to Redgum Valley, after an absence of twelve years, to look after her increasingly eccentric parents. There, she’s thrown into regular contact with Blair Morrissey – the very reason she couldn’t wait to leave town in the first place. The decade-old scars are still raw from that humiliating day in high school – when Blair went from the boy she loved to the boy she hated.Except Blair doesn’t seem to be a ‘bad boy’ any more – in fact, he’s charming, infuriatingly helpful and extremely attractive. If only Nicola could forgive and forget . . .

A Bush Christmas by Margareta Osborn is only 4¢ at Kobo US

Spoiler:
From the author of Bella's Run, a gloriously funny and hopelessly romantic Christmas story set in the beautiful Australian bush of East Gippsland.Jaime Hanrahan does not want anything to do Christmas this year. She's just been retrenched, and if that wasn't bad enough, this is her first Christmas without her beloved father Jack, who died last Boxing Day.Determined not to spend it with her mother, who has already remarried, and her friends, who still have six-figure jobs, she jumps at the chance to house-sit a mansion in rural Burdekin's Gap.Two problems.Number one, the property comes with a handsome station manager, Stirling McEvoy, who doesn't take kindly to a city chick destroying his peace. Especially when she needs rescuing from stampeding cattle, falling Christmas trees and town ladies wielding catering lists and tablecloths. And two, in Burdekin's Gap there's no chance of escaping the festive season. For the town has its own unique way of celebrating Christmas - big time, BUSH style!Includes an extract from Margareta's upcoming novel, Hope's Road.

Here are two that aren't labeled as romance, but they are at Fiction DB so...

The Girl in the Yellow Vest by Loretta Hill is 59¢ at Kobo US

Spoiler:
From the author of the bestselling The Girl in Steel-Capped Boots and The Girl in the Hard Hat, comes another scintillating romantic comedy, this time set on the beautiful Queensland coast. The perfect summer read! 'We can't choose who we fall in love with. It could be our best friend ... or our worst enemy.' Emily Woods counts cracks for a living. Concrete cracks. So when her long-term boyfriend dumps her, she decides it's time for a change of scenery. Her best friend, Will, suggests joining his construction team in Queensland. Working next door to the Great Barrier Reef seems like just the sort of adventure she needs to reboot her life.until she realises that Will is not the person she thought he was. Charlotte Templeton is frustrated with the lack of respect FIFO workers have for her seaside resort. But picking a fight with their tyrannical project manager, Mark Crawford, seems to lead to more complications than resolutions. The man is too pompous, too rude, and too damned good looking. As both women strive to protect their dreams and achieve their goals, they discover that secrets will come out, loyalty often hurts, and sometimes the perfect man is the wrong one.

Somehow, the Maxwell sisters must find a way back to one another - or risk losing each other forever. I was able to use two of the 35% coupons in the shopping cart for the non-preorder books. Because paying 62¢ is so much better than 95¢ I imagine the 9¢ books are couponable, too. But I didn't think to add any coupons when I bought 8 of them earlier

Remember all those HQN pre-order freebies (I checked... they aren't free anymore) back in September? I woke up, checked my email on my phone and thought for a second my Amazon account had been hacked when I saw all the order confirmation emails. I'd sent them to my Paperwhite, and when I grabbed it, it wouldn't turn on and had some screen saver message that I needed to register device. Had to restart it, then all the books were delivered, and I proceeded to delete them so they wouldn't drain the battery indexing.

Moral of the story: in the future I shall send pre-orders I'm not necessarily interested in reading immediately to a different device!

I haven't checked my account as I'm away from the house. I did get an email that two of the release dates had been changed to April. Glad to see they honored the preorders though and didn't cancel them.
