You folks made me check the forecast with all your talk of another snowpocalypse. They're predicting "ice pellets" for us on Wednesday. And there's a winter storm watch, predicting another 6-12+ inches (on top of the 2 feet we still have) and up to 1/4 inch of "glaze" that may knock down trees and powerlines. *sigh* Here we go again. I'm predicting another round of calls from the pseudo-father-in-law making sure we have enough bread and milk to tide us over.

Well, I thought about it, but ... by the time I even got to the airport, it'll be starting and planes will be grounded, so I think I'm stuck here. The time to run would probably have been Saturday, LOL. And at that point Chris was still being a skeptic.

So..I work tonight, and it will snow all four hours I'm there, just enough to make getting home an adventure. I'm off Tuesday during the worst of it and plan to stay home. I work Wednesday after the worst of the snow is supposed to have ended, but the roads, I'm sure, will be horrid. Chris works all three days but he has a four wheel drive Blazer and thinks weather like this is fun, so I don't worry much about him.

Just looked at the rest of the forecast. Looks like my home town is in for a real hard time. There hasn't been that much snow there since I was a kid! You folks in the midwest stay safe. Don't forget to check the flashlight batteries.

My husband drives an AWD Explorer and he too thinks driving in the snow is fun

I get a 2 wheel drive minivan...not fun.
