Yeah, I spend that much every 4 months or so. I spent about $106 for my Pu-Erh experiment, $150 for my recent Gschwendner order, and $80 for the Lupicia order.

Then again, I don't drink too many soft drinks and I drink beer mainly on the weekends. So tea is my primary drink of choice.

True. Sort of like I hate biscuits and sandwiches right now (I only eat them when I'm sick). My kind of sandwich is not the American kind of sandwich by the way. Looks like this:

I like warm milk because 'a glass of warm milk with honey is one of the oldest and best remedies for insomnia'. I've been having trouble falling asleep for a long time, and warm milk with honey is part of my 'nighttime ritual' that's so important according to my doctor.

Coke zero, stirred so it's no longer fizzy.

This was my standards-have-to-have-in-the-house shopping not the fancy whities I am so fond of.

I bought

1000 g Assam by Windsor Castle
500 g Orange Pekoe by Windsor Castle (gift for my Mom)
500 g Earl Grey by Windsor Castle (gift for my Mom)
250 g Kashmir Chai by Kusmi
250 g Russian Morning by Kusmi

The Kusmis are extremly hard to resist due to their unique packaging...

Kusmi

You are right about the Kusmi packaging. Who could resist a tea called Prince Vladimir? I couldn't. Not a chance. I'm very tempted by these teas, but they are quite pricey.

I'm just about to go put some water on for mint tea, with a spoon of honey.

When I can't sleep, I imagine myself painting my whole house.....cleaning, sanding, cleaning again, primer, sanding again, undercoat etc. I start with each door on the top floor and imagine myself painting every door; front and back....on to the next. Very soothing and soon I'll be sleeping.

In my cup: cold Arabica-coffee

Those are pretty. I have tins at home so I buy bags of loose leaf and put them in my tins. It saves money and allows me to buy more tea.

I know that Tea Gschwendner is a German company that ships world wide. You could search for them and see if they have teas similar to what you like. You might find some great teas at a significant lower price.

Yes, it is! I love going to the Super H-Mart. Some of the teas don't have English on the packaging, but it's usually in English on the shelf label if you look closely.

heheheh

After cleaning up a crate full of puppy poop and then taking the puppy to the vet for round three of shots and then giving said puppy a bath I have earned some strangly labeled tea.

And Five Guys. So having a burger tomorrow. I'll be good and get a single instead of a double. OK, so I'll end up with the double but I can pretend that I will be good...

Prof. Cash, I know Gschwendner there are shops in every city over here and I do buy with them quite a lot. They have some very teas in their Edmonds range. But actually they are not a dime cheaper than Kusmi, cheaper than Mariage Freres they are. It will be my ruin one day to have all these stores so readily available here.

Should I move into some remote little speck of country hamlet

Try some cold Arabica-coffee; no need to move to 'nowhere town'.

Normally my bill at TG comes in around $120 and I buy about 10 - 12 teas. I don't buy anything in the Edmonds Catagory, those are far too expensive.

But that is my experience. Perhaps they charge more in Europe then they do in the US.
