Ah KK - I feel for you. And with you not up and about - couldn't you call someone, fire brigade, sheriff or whatever is available? I am certain this is an emergency as the worries interfer with your recouperation.

Coyotes, believe or not, have become a problem where my parents live in Southwest Florida because of over development. They've been known to run up and steal small dogs as their owners are walking them.

I'm praying that your kitten is okay and just living the high life with a couple of her buds somewhere and will be home soon. Do call in some friends though, KK, so that you're not tempted to stress your knee. Sending hugs your way.

I feel your pain! There is nothing worse than having the kids sick at the same time, especially the illnesses that involve the stomach and intestines. I hope everyone mends quickly and the repair person hurries over to fix your washer. I go nuts when mine is out of commission even for a day. Sending hugs to you, too!

5 AM. The phone rings........21 yr old granddaughter says "did I wake you"? No, I alway"I always sound like that!

"I'm on my way. I"ve left dumbass" (boyfriend)

Oh yea. There goes my peaceful house.

It gets better. Daughter calls at 6. "Can you babysit? Abbey is running a fever."

Sure.

'sigh Abbeys is just sick enough to be a pain..........LOL

Oh man, I can feel your pain. My life got turned upside down a bit yesterday as well. I won't go into the details, but had to do with daughters and ex-wives....

I feel for those youngsters that have no family to turn to when they stumble.

My doctor's office scheduled my surgery for Feb. 10th even though I told them there was a good possibility that I would want to go to the SuperBowl on Feb. 7th . . . in Miami.

Because it took them over a month to coordinate with the assisting doctor and since I REALLY need to get this over with, I'm just going to stick with the scheduled date and forego the SuperBowl.

Hey. . .maybe the Bengals will get there next year and I can go to that one! . . . It could happen. . .

So true. Daughter spent the night at my place last night and we were able to undo at least some of the damage...

Don't get me started. They scheduled Chris for septoplasty (more repair from that bicycle wreck he had several years ago) for Thursday. Which is January 28th. Which is TWO DAYS before our anniversary. Is he going to feel like doing anything? He says yes, I've been trying not to laugh at his delusion

Xanax is awesome. The sad thing is I can take 4 of those and wash them down with vodka before a plane ride, and I'll still be awake.

Ugggggggggh! A few weeks ago I applied for an Amazon store card. They needed me to enter my home address to verify. However they didn't ask me for a separate mailing address. The problem is that USPS doesn't deliver mail to my home address! Only to a separate address at the PO Kiosk down the road. I was hoping the Post Office would redirect, but no, it turns out they only do that for packages, not parcel. I have no idea who to contact, and I can't even log in to the section to manage my card until I actually get it!
