Pot one of Keemun. I am going to have to bring my supply from home to the office since I am almost out.
Good stuff. If you like fruit infused teas I would suggest that you check out Lupicia's website. They have some good fruit infused teas. |

Thanks for the suggestion ProfCrash! I don't think I've ever heard of Lupicia, but I'll take a look and see if they ship to Europe.

I am sure there are other loose leaf stores that sell fruity tea in Europe.

Actually, there aren't that many loose leaf stores where I live! Once every couple of months I go for a trip to the nearest city that has this kind of stores and buy in bulk, basically. Online stores would be very useful...

I believe astra lives in the UK. He might be able to help you. I know of the Tea Shop in Barcelona, and I think through out Spain, but I don't know if they sell over the internet.

Gyokuro is good but I probably won't refill my tin when it is out. I don't think it is that much better then a Bancha or a Sencha.
Having read the Wiki info on it, I'll have to try brewing it differently. Teavana suggest 30-45 seconds at 175 but Wiki suggests 90 seconds at 140. Last edited by ProfCrash; 02-03-2011 at 03:33 PM. |

Hi, Hi... Just catching up with all the posts here.
Coffee in my cup. I am trying to get rid of the taste of a tea my boss shared with me. A Celestial Seasonings rooibos mix of something. It was horrible, and I had to be polite and finish it. Yuck, I made a cup of coffee as soon as I could. ![]() |

I have been involved a couple of times in the wanting and having children. With different wives. Lately even. We have a daughter that will be 4 in few weeks, and - the blessable be blessed - she is the joy of her mother and mine. Why? In both cases, I can risk the guess that it has been a very powerful desire of the mothers, highly educated professionals, both of them with Ph D's and solid personal positions. I tend to think that in both cases it was almost an overpowering biological impulse. They both trusted me to be a good father and they have not shown signs of regret in the least. On the contrary, with the first - even after the divorce - there is a strong feeling around being co-parents. About being a good husband ... a veil of silence is best. To me, being father at an age when one is usually a grandfather (which I am also), has been and is a tremendous experience. I felt decades of age melt away from my body, my mind and my spirit. I have accomplished what was reasonable to expect from me professionally and financially. Now I can put in this new adventure the time, the attention, even the means that I was not able to provide more than 30 years ago with the first child. Is it all roses, to smell and to admire? Not at all, even if one is blessed by children's good health and happy disposition, but that's life. Nothing is worst than a dry heart. Children are there just to keep it nicely moist. How to say what I want to say. Well. Jews have a way to it. You are given the gift of grand fatherhood as a recompense for not having killed your own children. That about explains what I mean. They can drive you up the wall and sometimes they actually do. Last edited by beppe; 02-03-2011 at 05:13 PM. |
