Let's face it, the chief of FIFA is Sepp Blatter, the chief of UEFA is Michel Platini. Both of them hate England with a passion; no undue English influence there!

I can understand Platini's animosity, due to the funny neighborhood between the countries, but... how do Blatter's grudges manifest? Which are they?

Well, just a couple of quotes from Blatter may help show his hypocrisy:

It is the game of the people and full of emotions. Football needs to have stars like Ronaldo.

But they hide that away and no one can see it. A football player is everywhere for everyone to see. They are stars.

You can't say it's too much money because you have to make it relevant to everything else, what is £80m now? Let us be generous about it."

I have no idea why the man is so hypocritical towards English football, but it is a fact that he is.

There are parks everywhere. You must choose accommodations to your liking before getting there.
It's high season now, difficult to get reservations. There's a limit of people allowed in any given park at the same time.

I suppose that theoretically that is true. But, IFAB set out and amend the rules of the game and I really can't think of any examples of anything they've done that would benefit teams playing in the 'British way'.

In fact, one of the examples of IFAB's changes I've seen was the outlawing of the tackle from behind (no sniggering at the back there!). You could argue that this penalised the more physical style of British play if anything.

Countries that play less frequently in international competitions get fewer points. This is the case with Canada. Only 8 games in the last year.
