I didnt get a chance to claim the offer because it was for the K4 not the K3, and I contacted them on Oct 30. Do you think I still have a chance to get the 50% discount?

I would. You did claim the K4 cover offer right before the dated ended? Had the code sent to your email? If so give them that code and ask how can I make this work for a Kindle Keyboard cover. I don't own the newest Kindle so this is useless to me.

Then you might be stuck with $10 which isn't too bad. The cases are on sale.

That's definitely a problem. Did they give you that $10 credit yet?

For future reference, I highly recommend claiming all offers; even if you're sent the wrong one or never intend to use them. You never know...

As to calling again, I'm not sure it would help. Maybe try again later tonight?

I was trying to stack the endless.com coupon for the kindle with their 20% off deal - wouldn't work. Did anyone else have luck doing this?

Amazon is really getting tight with these offers. They're no longer stackable and the discounts keep getting smaller. It looks like the best deals are now a thing of the past.

I have two K3s with Special Offers on my account - I gave one to my adult daughter for her birthday in August, and just bought one for me. Now, I find out that they've changed the policy and you can't use a special offer (like a horror book for $1) for each Kindle, but only for each account - which means only one of us can take advantage of the special offer, even though we each own a KSO.

This doesn't seem right - it didn't used to work this way - and nowhere did Amazon inform anyone of the change. It just one day became different.

Anybody else noticed this, or is there a thread about it that I'm missing? There's a thread on the Amazon Kindle forum about it and a bunch of upset people - including me - since these KSOs were bought with the expectation that each device would be eligible to take advantage of the advertised special offers.

Have her make a separate account then she can take advantage of the offers on her Kindle.

You mean she should deregister from the main account, re-register to her account and get the code, and then register on the main account again to use it (so the book, if that's the offer, ends up on the account that we share)? Or would she have to keep her K3 registered to her account until after she uses the code and takes advantage of the offer, and then the book she wants ends up on her account?

She already has an account - but we do read enough of the same books that we've always kept her Kindle registered to my account - for more than 3 years now, since we both got K1s.

She's have to use her account for the offer but you could always de-register yours then register on hers to get what books she has later. I've read alot of people do it this way to share books.

How often does Amazon allow people to register, then de-register, then register, then de-register before they say enough is enough?

I have no clue, I am one person with two Kindles but I always hear of others doing it like husband and wife sharing books that way.
