I mentioned this in another post.

The Libre can do library books just fine. In fact, I think for those who are slow readers and do not want to deal with removing DRM, I think the Jetbook/Libre line are the best devices for library books because of the whole issue of being able to keep reading your borrowed books way past the 2 or 3 week borrowing period. See my other posts. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the Aluratek Libre.

One thing I am sure of is that you can pocket any of these 5-inch ereaders.

Just a quick point about pocketing the Jetbook/Libre. I have had a Jetbook for almost 2 years now, and in general, I have been pleased with it. It was often in my front pants pocket so I could read whenever it was convenient. Unfortunately, over time the stress of carrying it in the pocket has caused little cracks to form on various parts of the units (At least I think that is what caused them). Last week, the plastic under the #9 button broke off and since that piece also holds the button in, I lost the button. So alas, my unit is in its last days.

Ultimately, I think if you want virtually any ebook to truly last, carrying it in a pants pocket should probably be very limited (Though perhaps the Sony 300, with its metal case would be strong enough...).
