Even I know where that phrase came from...

But we were never allowed to watch tv unless we'd finished our homework. Besides, except on wednesday, TV didn't start before 16:00 anyway.

I remember as a kid, my mother always tried to keep me downstairs as long as she could, and watch tv. I always tried to get upstairs to my bedroom and read...

Today, there are basically three, and only three, major styles of electric guitars; the Fender Stratocaster, the Fender Telecaster, and the Gibson 'Les Paul' models. Almost every major electric guitar manufacturer puts out it's own 'Les Paul' model. I'm basically an acoustic guitar player but even I have a 'Les Paul' for when I want to get that jazzy Les Paul/Chet Atkins neck-pickup clear tone!

Les Paul was and will always be one of the all-time greats of guitar history.

Anyone remember watching the Tonight Show before it was hosted by Johnny Carson? Do you remember the host's name? Initials J.P.....

I remember his name was Jack Parr, but he was before my time (or my late night TV watching habits, anyway).
