yep! you're right! I have been thinking of quite a few I have forgotten. but!!! it stimulated problem solving for at least a few people! and that is what I was looking for. we are after all, a rather clever lot here!

Alphapheemail mentioned "one eye open" and it reminded me of when my oldest son was two or three years old. I went upstairs to check on him, and he was lying in bed with his eyes wide open and the lights on, but he was sound asleep. He scared the shit out me with his eyes open like that.

I slept well this weekend on a (re-enacting) camping trip -- on a cot, and a mattress filled with straw. In my typical "soldier" position. And yet ..... despite also sleeping well last night, I was fighting sleep all day today. Yeah, I want to go back to bed! And I hate waking up; I can hit the snooze button for 90 minutes or more, and actually fall asleep between each buzz.
