don't bid too high, you know if you win it, the day after your hanlin comes in the post your ez reader will turn up somewhere blindingly obvious... (but don't resell the hanlin, the ez reader will just disappear again as soon as you do...)

Oh dear, I do hope it turns up soon. Where did you last see it?

I did check the garden under the courgette plants, but it wasn't there (keeping in mind the slugs and snails are happily eating their way through the garden...hope they didn't eat it).

I wouldn't mind so much if they were only in the tree. They're all over the sodding place. Walking barefoot in wet grass that's longer than about 2mm round here is hazardous... On the plus side, we don't have slugs.

The last place I remember (for sure) is the horse barn - late Monday afternoon. But my wife thinks she saw me reading it that night. I've looked at the barn, in the car, (other cars too). It's just --- gone.
