Just stating the obvious, but the above is completely unofficial and is coming from a third party, not iRex itself. I'm sure there will still be lots of people complaining on the 4th that they didn't meet their "release date", but so far, iRex has not officially announced any dates.

At our office we have recently buyed a DR100 and it came with 1.6 software. So it should be close for everybody. At least i hope that

Why would a firmware version be available on a newly purchased DR before it was released to the "community"? It's not exactly hard to distribute.....

Maybe that's because they changed (faulty?) hardware in the newer DRs? That's just speculation though.

Hi Banintz, I think you may be looking at the DR Companion Software version (currently 1.6), not the DR firmware version...

On your DR, go to Settings, About and check the 'Software Version'. Does it say 1.5?

I really can't understand what the guys in iRex were doing for the last few months. They made the largest ebook devices ahead of amazon, sony, etc. yet still can't eliminate just few bugs? They're just hopeless..After kindle dx, they're simply dead.
