The last time I bought:

Neal Stephenson: Anathem
Mary Doria Russell: The Sparrow and Children of God
Aravind Adiga: The White Tiger.

Haven't gotten around to reading any of them though.

I just finished Undone by Rachel Caine. Extreemly good book. I can't wait for the next in the series.

I just started reading Kim by Rudyard Kipling. This is good as well, but there is a lot of imagry and symbolism I am having issues with.

Oooooh - I've been waiting for this to come out in ebook. And it's available in Multiformat at Fictionwise. I must have missed it in January.

OK, this is now the last ebook I've bought. :-)

The last book I bought was The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause. Unfortunately, the publisher obviously scanned in a paper version of the book and virtually every page has OCR errors. Apparently nobody proof-read the result. It's not quite unreadable, but it definately affects the reading experience, which is a shame because I really liked Blood and Chocolate by the same author. I'm going to buy King's Ur next.

I took a chance and bought The accidental time machine, loved it and then went on to Camouflage. Both very interesting and enjoyable books. Recommended.

Generally speaking, I find Joe Haldeman very good The forever war is a classic (& very good) and The forever peace (not a sequel) is also very entertaining...

John Updike - Couples

realised I had never read any of his books whilst reading his obituary. It's excellent. Of its time (dated??) but excellent.

Finished it - highly recommended if you haven't read it.

Now bought and reading Douglas Adam's Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the n-th time, but first time on an eBook reader which feels deliciously ironic!
