Hey!

I couldn't find any info if the google drive import function will be also in the "older" Scribe products. Currently, I could grab the Scribe 2024 Version for 240 Euro (directly from Amazon). But the Google Drive functionality is pretty important for me.

There are not any details that I've seen either.

But still does not answer question whether 2022/2024 Scribes will get this feature, given that they have less powerful CPUs.

Yes and the high price would not as much of an issue for business use, as it is tax write off.

It would need to work with the 'corporate' flavors of GD and OD too, and restrictions on how those documents could be exported/shared when those are used.

No business should be using any Kindle unless it's never online, and the Scribe is the worst for Business privacy. No other gadget designed for PDF annotation needs the Internet or server, as far as I know.

No-one else requires PDFs to be converted. The PDF spec includes adding extra layers and everything needed.

I love how Amazon says "and older Kindles will be able to update to the new homepage" aka...we're forcing older Kindles to update to keep you from removing the DRM on these devices..

It's not even possible to use a Kindle without first registering it online. That alone puts it at the very bottom of all devices regarding privacy. I think that kfx format and suborn refusal to properly support PDF and EPUB formats will end up hurting them in the long run. All it takes is for e-ink patents to recede, or for someone to finally develop a strong alternative, and Chinese competition will out price them into irrelevancy.
