AFAIK you can't listen to music with any eink Nook, there's no support for it.
Tolino also has quite basic software and I don't know how good the battery life is, but yes, it supports epubs, which is your first priority. |

A decent phone, with screen blank, has better battery life and usability than any eink for music. Most eink ereaders with audio only really have it for TTS/Voice view, though later Kindles and Kobo can use rental audiobooks from the Mothership shop (but phone apps are better and you can use more subscriptions / sources).

The nook firmware is atrocious. Do not get one. You'll hate it.

À Nook DOES sound really good right now.
What's with the whole "partitioned" comment, though? I did a quick Google and, what: do some Nooks supposedly cut off storage space for sideloading? I don't see anything mentioning the newest model does this.. But, obv, I could be mistaken! Ugh. Yeah, I just want something SIMPLE! Drag 'N Drop, is the #1 priority (well, aside from one in which the light cannot be turned off), priced under $120, and is at least 6.8" to 7.8" At this juncture, I might as well wait for BF/Cyber Monday deals.. See if I can snag a Kobo Libra 2/H20, Nook GlowLight 4 Plus, or Tolino Vision 5 |

Independent of brand, if you can live with what comes as stock your life will be simpler.
If you're like me though, massive customization is the only thing that will make you happy. |

I thought the latest model does partition and it was the previous one that did not. Is this correct?
