I've never spent more than $5 for an ebook and I never will. I've had to scan some paperbacks and found some on darknet. These companies can try whatever pricing schemes they want. That is my bottom line.

I think they are talking about fiction there. Non-fiction of that variety is definitely worth a lot more than that - it is information, not entertainment.
