You still don't see it? Amazon can easily allow cellular data in Apple devices, if they simply decide to do that. And that is how it is Apple's fault that Amazon won't do it. Apple doesn't play well with others, especially not Amazon. In return, Amazon does not have to play well either.

If you really wanted to enable streaming of Prime instant video, just jailbreak your ios device and install 3Gunrestrictor to enable wifi only features over 3G and LTE.
