It's normal to see some color hue variations even among the e-ink screens in identical readers, it's just how it is. I don't think anyone can say Brand X is whiter than Brand Y, because someone will be able to show the opposite between screens as well. Between 3 Kobo Glos one has a slight yellowish tint, one slight blue (my favorite) and one white. I wouldn't have noticed any differences though if they weren't put side by side.
