Georgia is my favorite font especially on tablets. I also like Amasis and Charis SIL. On my Kindle PW2 I prefer Palatino and sometime use Caecilia Condensed.

The Nexus 7 is too small to read two pages side by side, and I find it to be too long to use in portrait...maybe I would need more time with it to get used to it. I just played with a friend's one.

You get use 7" real quick I read faster on my tablet because I can use a smaller font and that means more words per page.

I have vision problems and found that the standard font for both kindle and Nook is just fine. I just have to make the letters larger. Most of the other fonts have the letters too close together - doesn't matter how large they are, they are hard to read.

I prefer serif fonts, and Georgia is one of my favorites. Line spacing, for me, is very important. I prefer a book with generous leading ( pretending we're talking about paper ).

Delima - which got phased out of Kobo when they changed firmware many many updates ago. Now I'm finding I can get by with Amasis.

I like Garamond for anything with large blocks of text. Georgia, Palatino & Optima are OK, too. If the text comes in smaller chunks (poetry or journalism), i might use a sans serif (Myriad, Frutiger).

Amasis when I feel like serif, Euphemia when I feel like sans. I like Euphemia a lot when I can reduce letter-spacing a bit.

For reasons unknown to me, the Iowan font in iBooks is currently my favorite font...

Usually Sans Serif. I used Open Sans in Marvin for iOS for a long time, but then after hearing so many people rave about Arvo, I switched to that for all pleasure reading. For cookbooks and some nonfiction I keep publisher formatting. Trebuchet is my fall-back font when I can't find anything else I like. Especially like Trebuchet for web reading.

I prefer Georgia for the main body of my e-books and Verdana for the other text. I find both typefaces very readable and my internet research found that both were created with reading on a screen in mind.
