my bad, i didn't know there is another thread about the non-vnc solution that I want to know if it works on windows or not.

I am attempting to connect my kindle to my mac using usbnetwork and terminal on the mac via telnet. I am using the followimg IP configurations however Terminal keeps reulsting in the 'unable to connect to remote host' error.

ROUTER IP: 192.168.1.1 LAN IP: 192.168.1.2 RNDIS IP: 192.168.2.1 KINDLE_IP=192.168.2.2

If anybody can see any obvoius problems or can help me out please let me know.

I am doing this for the purpoise of using my k4 as a monitor. I have spent so many hours in the last few days trying to do this and its driving me mad.

Hi,
for all those who also struggle for the last line of the Kindle hack
/mnt/us/kindlevncviewer/kvncviewer.sh 192.168.2.1:1 &
to be accepted by putty, try:
/mnt/us/kindlevncviewer/kindlevncviewer/kvncviewer.sh 192.168.2.1:1 &
i.e. there are two "kindlevncviewer" folders nested inside each other.
Otherwise try looking through the folders on your Kindle to see what the exact pathway is, it might be different for you.
