This is cleared up in one of the short stories.

Shakespeare did write his plays.

I'm a little sad that I just finished The Saxon Uprising. Sounds like the next long fiction novel is going in a different direction than the open story lines from this book. Well, onto other series for a while.

From the FAQs page:

An eARC is an Advance Reader Copy. This is an unproofed manuscript and is guaranteed to be full of typos and error. It is pretty much raw from the author's word processor. But you get the entire eARC well in advance of even the Monthly Baen Bundle release.

It's a way to read the story well in advance of the publication date.

I see, its an interesting site to gather information about the forthcoming gazette volumes however I need to finish the books before I can go after the gazettes. Even before that I am going to need to go back and pick up some David Weber books that I have not read already. David Weber is the author that started me on my latest stage of reading sci-fi books, along with the various Mack Bolan (macbolan.com) books that I read.

Given the fact that most authors do not have web sites fictfact.com is a great resource in finiding the next book in the series, which ever series that you are reading.

Baen has updated their publishing schedule at
http://www.baen.com/schedule.asp

"1635: The Papal Stakes" is scheduled for release in October 2012. I am hoping that this is the continuation to "The Canon Law", which was one of the more interesting ROF threads.

The are some "Kremlin Games" snippets on Eric Flint's website (http://www.ericflint.net/), but I didn't see anything there for "The Papal Stakes"

If you follow the link in post 24 of this thread to the "forthcoming" page of Eric Flint's blog he says that in fact Papal Stakes is the direct sequel to Canon Law.

The only thing coming off the top of my head is Brigadoon. But that was a Broadway Musical, not a book.
