The last pbook I read was also the first book I read in 2011, and the only reason I read the paper version is that one of the members of a reading group I belong to entered a contest with the publisher and won HC copies for everyone in the group. Including that book, I've probably read only about 3 or 4 pbooks since I got my first reader 2 1/2 years ago.

I'm reading a pbook at the moment. It doesn't worry me because it's not a hard cover. It's a small paperback and I can handle that, though I must admit that every time I pick a pbook up the print seems to have gotten smaller.

I read a paper book about five weeks ago - by flashlight - after our power was out for seven very long days (that monster snowstorm in the Northeast) and my Nook's battery finally pooped out. It was an odd experience, as the last time before that may have been as many as eight or nine years ago, which would have been sometime after I got my Rocket Ebook. I couldn't wait to find a power source!

I can't hardly remember. It's a Stephen King book, I think.

I usually have two or three books on the go at any time - and at least one is usually a pBook. I like reading more than I worry about what I'm reading.

I do read pbooks, but they are almost exclusively pbooks that I was not able to find (or afford) as ebooks. They are mostly non-fiction; fiction is much easier to find in as an epub. I am almost always reading a pbook at the same time as an ebook. I do prefer ebooks for fiction.

I saw someone at the railway station reading a really, really thick spined paperback yesterday. I was thinking how awkward it looked and I'd never manage it.

I'd start my car and charge my reader using the car charging plug!

(got one for my Sony, my Mini and my Flyer...)

Since there are still so many back list books out there that may never make it into ebook format; I expect to still be reading pbooks for the forseeable future.
