Those are very tacky and we don't want book signings to look like car shows.
Publishing agencies shouldn't use models anyway.

Interesting thread, informative. How much of this publishers and authors protecting their traditional distribution channels and ways authors compensation is determined? With small bookstores decimated and ebooks and online channels immature, maybe anew model is needed.
