That looks pretty nice, bjkel.
I've been admiring this skin on the website but it looks far darker than I expected in your photo. Is there any chance you could possibly please post a couple more in different light?

Also, general question, do these skins cover the sides, top, and bottom of the reader at all, or are they only for the front and back?

Solid black matte

The skin is accurately fitting and is ending that glare nightmare once and for all. Really love the looks of the PRS-T1 now ...

Thanks. Here are some more pictures, took these ones outside. It is darker than I expected, but I like it. The matte finish really does make a difference with reading, I love it!

It doesn't cover the very top, bottom or sides.

@ Bookworm_Girl - Thanks, It's so tough picking a combo, I'm kind of wishing I had gotten the green avenue of trees Oberon sleeve rather than the fern as the skin is a bit darker than I was anticipating, but, oh well.

Thanks bjkel! that is indeed quite a bit darker than you'd expect looking at it on the site, but it's still extremely nice.

Not so sure about it on a white T1 though, I think it would look a bit odd with white bits around the edges. Wish I'd known about these skins before ordering my T1, I would've just gone with a super-glossy black one and skinned it.

The Oberon sleeves are gorgeous too, but a bit out of my price range I think

I finally selected a DecalGirl skin for my T1. I went with the "Paris Makes Me Happy" design since I have really been wanting a white T1. Usually I go for dark colored skins, but the text on the T1 screen has such great contrast that I thought I'd try something different. Besides, I was getting tired of geometric patterns.

I noticed a few things since the last time that I purchased a DecalGirl skin. First, they no longer charge $5 extra for matte. Hooray! Second, it seems the skin material is a little stiffer so it was a bit easier to apply. Also, the quality of the graphics printing seems improved.

I think I'd find a design other than a solid color distracting - I love the Green Lacquer. How hard are those decal skins to apply (assuming I'm a total klutz)?

The one on the T1 is super-easy. The front and back are separate pieces. If you are thinking of applying it on your 650, it is a little more difficult but still not hard. I am assuming that the 650 skin is like the 950 which is a wraparound one-piece skin for front and back. I watched a video on-line before I applied that one. The skins are flexible, and you can reposition them as you go.

As Bookworm_Girl said, you can reposition them as you go. Be especially careful around the buttons and do that area first. When I placed my first skin, it ended up too close to the 2 buttons on the left making them a bit harder to press. It finally annoyed me enough that I completely removed the skin after about a week and placed it back on again. Just very carefully pull it off a little at a time should you need to do that to minimize stretching it out. It turned out fine sticking it on a 2nd time in my case and I had no real stretching.

Be aware though the longer you leave the skin on, the more it adheres and will require a LOT of effort to pull it off, and it's impossible to not stretch it out then. Also, make sure you record your serial number from the back of the reader, as the 350 and 650 skins cover it up complete, and when you remove the skin after a long period, it actually will pull the serial sticker off with the skin making it unreadable. I made a text file with the serial info that I keep on my PC and on my reader.

Even after leaving the skin on for over 8 months in my case before I removed it, it still left absolutely zero residue on the reader, I was very pleasantly surprised at that.
